Stuff I’ve been loving lately

Hi y’all!

Just a quick blog on stuff I’ve been surrounding myself with cause they make me insanely happy. And I only mention Harry Potter like three times. Absolute top score.

On Screen:
Three weeks ago, I went to see What If  (directed by Michael Dowse) in cinema on a free monday afternoon. It was the only movie we could watch at that time and I’m mighty glad it was. It’s a romcom starring Daniel Radcliffe and Zoe Kazan that made me laugh out loud a few times and had me leave the cinema in the most cheerful state of mind. There were a few odd, realistic scenes where characters just grabbed their phone to avoid having to talk to other people or to kill some time, which I found very funny.
Curled up in a chair: I’ve started reading Lunch in Paris (written by American journalist Elizabeth Bard) and enjoying every page of it. It’s a love story set in Paris that contains recipes of the dishes that are mentioned (a feature I would’ve bloody loved to see in Harry Potter and actually most other books I’ve read). It’s easy to understand why it’s a New York Times Best-Seller as it combines the magical combination of Paris, love and food and it’s a lovely and easy read.
In my ears: You Keep Me Hangin’ On by the Supremes. Just can’t get enough of that tune.

SAM_0150                                            Meridian Peanut Butter, Supervalu, €3,59

This nutty brand makes the most delicious nut butters ever! I spread this peanut butter on a whole meal pita bread or rice cake or just eat it straight from the jar when no one is looking. Their Almond Butter is also absolutely divine and I have yet to discover the taste of their Hazelnut Butter, Cashew Butter and Pumpkin Seed Butter. To be continued. Yummy.

SAM_0106Super Beauty Coconut & Acai Shower Gel, Boots,  €3,29

Basically, I really like to smell like a cake (vanilla perfume, coconut shower gel, honey hairspray, come to momma) and this shower gel does exactly that. I usually switch to another shower gel after emptying a bottle but I’ve happily repurchased this one now.

SAM_0114                                           Doughnut Clutch Bag, New Look, €14,99

Is it fashion? Is it food? Pardon my photography skills, this clutch looks quite a bit more yummy in real life than the picture shows. I bought this one only a few weeks ago and absolutely adore it. My birthday is coming up in October and even though I don’t have any outfit planned yet, I do know I’ll be sporting this bad boy.

SAM_0100                                           Hogwarts Tee, Penney’s/Primark, €8,00

Because well, who wouldn’t love such a magical comfy top?

See you later!
